Chances of the annual press event are looking rather unlikely.

In the latest Squad XP podcast, Xbox group product manager Aaron Greenberg spoke on the likelihood of seeing Microsoft’s annual press event later this year, which would presumably fall under the title of X07.
"There is not a real X07 this year, but I think we'll figure out some way to talk about 2008 sometime at a different event or a different type of program,” Greenberg stated.
According to him, there are many secret projects in the works between Microsoft and their party publishers that have yet to be announced. The event is typically where projects not ready to be shown at E3 are displayed for the first time. Whatever happens, AMN will have the full scoop.
