To remake an old game, you need a voice actor from an old band.
October 17, 2007 | 9:12 AM PSTCapcom revealed in a press release yesterday that Nathan Spencer, the protagonist in the newly announced Bionic Commando game, will be voiced by former Faith No More lead singer Mike Patton.
As many of you have heard, Bionic Commando is a remake of the successful NES game released in 1988, ironically the same year that Patton joined Faith No More's lineup.
Faith No More has been featured in video games in the past, with their classic "Midlife Crisis" being featured on the San Andreas soundtrack.
Let's just hope the Bionic Commando doesn't undergo a midlife crisis; although we have to admit, a mission where you blow your paycheck to lease a Corvette you can't afford could be pretty entertaining. Stay tuned to AMN as more details become available.

Editor's Take: Early 90's rock meets 80's video games? I have no qualms with that.
