And, to think, last year Crackdown was mockingly known as "Halo 3 Beta: Includes Crackdown".
Last year, following the release of the original Crackdown, developer Real Time Worlds had stated that they weren't working on a sequel to the breakout Xbox 360 game. However, that doesn't mean that Microsoft doesn't have plans for another installment.
At DICE today, Microsoft's Corporate Vice President, Shane Kim, said that "we [Microsoft] still love Crackdown."
"We consider that a pretty successful title for us, high quality, I think that customers would like to see more in that space. So that's an option for us."
Well, considering the commercial and critical success of the original, we think it'd be a good option to act on. We'll keep you updated, while patiently awaiting news of the next Crackdown.
