Earlier this year Bizzarre Creations turned their back on the flock at Microsoft, in favor of the greener pastures of Activision. This left a huge void in the Microsoft Game Studio portfolio. Many were wondering if Microsoft would bring in an external developer to work on the sequel to PGR4. It looks like they will keep Pro Gotham Racing in the family, handing development over to Forza developer, Turn 10.
"A reliable source close to the Development Studio "Turn 10" contacted Addict Gaming earlier today with some pretty substantial evidence that Turn 10 will be developing Project Gotham 5. We can't post the e-mails and invitations we saw earlier today due to keeping our informants identity hidden. What we saw though is definitive evidence that not only are they developing the latest addition to the Project Gotham series, but they'll also be announcing it "Within the next two weeks...." -- Addict GamingThis is somewhat disconcerting, considering this is the studio that is supposed to be developing the next installment in the Forza franchise. It leaves one to wonder if the projects will remain separate, or morph into the most amazing simulation based arcade racing game ever. Pro Gotham Racing: Forza Edition, anyone?
