When Bungie does stuff like this, the wackos like yours truly, come out of the woodwork. We are the kind of people that will analyze the hell out of every trailer, frame by frame. But it looks like the pieces of the puzzle may be coming together a bit. Below is a breakdown of the current rumors that have been inspired by Bungie's new trailer.


Rumor #1: Halo 3 to receive new campaign content

The image at right was captured from the trailer's entry on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. It looks like this image may be holding a piece of critical information not shown in the trailer. While the screenshot looks legit, time will tell.

Rumor #2: The release date of new product is hidden in the trailer

The above screenshot was supposedly captured from some of the quickly scrolling screens of text about 37 seconds into the trailer. You can distinctly read the numbers "01/06/09". This has led some to believe that this could be the ship date of the still unnamed project. After a glimpse ahead in my calendar, the sixth of January is a Tuesday, which is the traditional day for releasing videos games. Interesting...
