Rumor: In Resident Evil 5 You'll Be Able to Move and Shoot

Okay, so, picture this: You're playing a game that claims to be Survival Horror in genre. You're making your way through a decimated village, trying to fight off hordes of the infected. You've got a pistol and a laser sight. What would make this situation scarier?
How about removing the ability to shoot while moving. If you want to take on the masses, you have to stop, aim and shoot. None of this "walking" when shooting. Running while shooting? Forget it!
In Resident Evil 5 on the other hand...this game really is attempting to go the way of Gears of War, the speaker in the video says so himself.
Around the 1:20 point, Mark Webster, Director of Marketing for Capcom, talks about the Action Controls. The Action Controls will allow players the ability to shoot while moving and they will be available in the full retail version of the game.
You will be able to choose which style to play with, but even Mark draws comparison's between Gears and RE5's new control setup. This sort of makes the similarities between the two undeniable.
Does that drive away any of you hardcore Resident Evil fans? Is Capcom abandoning the survival horror genre for the 3rd person action game world?
*UPDATE* Frequent commenter Notedog has spotted some discrepencies in the comments of Mark Webster from Capcom. The citing points towards a thread where users posted the original video and then posted some claims that the news was false. I won't consider the debunking 100% accurate, but I'll say the same for the initial claim that Action Controls are present at all. Says a lot about Mark Webster if he was wrong.
Here's the link.
Thanks for the tip, Notedog.
