GTA IV Meth Recipe Inaccurate, Finds British Ratings Board

You may have heard some harsh accusations from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) against Rockstar earlier this month for having a recipe for methamphetamines (meth for us common folk) in Grand Theft Auto IV. The accusations got so heated that the BBFC would pursue action to ban the game from the UK if the recipe was found to be accurate.
Well as it turns out, the concoction in the game does not actually produce crystal meth, imagine that. The supposed baking instructions for the drug is on the in-game internet website "CrapList", basically a GTA IV Craigslist. Thankfully, this means that GTA IV will not be banned for sale in the UK. How the BBFC decided that the recipe for meth was not correct is still a mystery.
Luckily, the BBFC doesn't rate games anymore, that lovely responsibility has been given to the Pan-European Game Information system. When the allegations came out, Rockstar stated that the recipe in the game would not actually make Meth, but research in to the subject continued. I think a better way to go about this recipe is to find out what it actually makes, cook it up and see what happens. It's possible it makes glazed donuts, you never know with these crazy games.
