Surely you have heard of the upcoming Green Lantern movie based on DC's own lantern wielding superhero? Well with every super hero movie comes a game to follow along with it.

In a report from Venture Beat they have gotten confirmation of the games existence. Rumor has it that the team behind the development of the game is none other than Double Helix, the team that is currently working on the G.I. Joe game.

The big question is, will the game be any good? Movie based video games have quite a bad track record when it comes to being good. Will things change? Or will we be seeing the same fate that many movie based video games have suffered?
