2nd Red Faction: Guerilla DLC Breaks Down Walls

Destruction. Mayhem. This is what Red Faction: Guerilla is all about. Let's forget the poor attempt at a sci-fi storyline, or the emphasis on open-world/sandbox immersion . . . at the end of the day, Guerilla is all about taking your futuristic miner's pickaxe and smashing apart Martian architecture, then watching it collapse in a beautiful disaster.
Starting today, THQ and Volition are expanding Red Faction: Guerilla's multiplayer destructability with a new multiplayer DLC pack, which is available on Xbox Live for 560 Microsoft FunBucks and on the PlayStation Network for $6.99. They've added two new destructive modes, "Bagman" and "Team Bagman," which are based on game modes from Red Faction 2. Long story short: Whoever holds the bag for the longest wins, and earns extra points for cappin' enemies in their brainpan while in possession of said bag.
In addition to this retro-tacular game mode, THQ and Volition have also included 8 new maps that can be experienced on any multiplayer mode except "Siege."
I had the pleasure of getting hooked on Red Faction: Guerilla's multiplayer after playing a handful of rounds with Game Informer's Phil Kollar, and let me tell you: Any excuse to strap on a Tribes-inspired backpack and wreak havoc in Red Faction: Guerilla multiplayer is worthwhile. And since the final Guerilla DLC pack is set to drop in October, now seems as good a time as any to procure this multiplayer add-on.
