As promised, the original Left 4 Dead received its brand-new expansion today, adding a new campaign to the co-op zombie-slaying shooter. "Crash Course" bridges the gap between the "No Mercy" and "Death Toll" campaigns, and can be played in Single-Player, Co-op, and Survival modes. Also added is a re-balanced Versus mode, offering a complete experience that includes a new recharge timer and tweaked item spawn locations. The DLC is now available for 560 Microsoft Points.
However, it appears there was some miscommunication on Microsoft's part this morning, as the DLC was made available - but for 800 MS Points. Had the ever greedy M$ screwed over Valve fans once again? Apparently not, as Major Nelson confirmed the price was an error, and would be fixed. Fortunately, everything seems to be OK now, so you can go ahead and get your horde-killing and pill-searching on!
