For those of you that don't already know, Ubisoft is working to provide gamers will a little insight into the Assassin's Creed 2 back-story before the game's release on November 17. Dubbed Lineage, this series of video shorts will attempt to connect the public with Ezio's character and the unique setting in which the game takes place. Below is a trailer for the video series, and let me just caution you, it is a bit graphic. Then again, if you're even remotely interested in this franchise, I'm sure you don't need to be made aware of the violence that is implied with a game of this nature.

While I must say, this doesn't quite compare to the ODST ad campaign video, it's not all that bad. Judging by the trailer though, I don't think Lineage will do all that much to increase the game's level of hype. What are your thoughts?
