What better way to ring in the new year than with a demonic, magic-leather-clad, gun-quartet-toting witch. SEGA and Platinum Games announced today that the climax action title Bayonetta will finally see a North American release on January 5, with the game also hitting Europe on January 8.

Hopefully we'll see the game's demo, already out in Japan, sometime in the next few weeks.
