Media: BioShock 2 - Multiplayer, Combat, and Character & Story Interviews, plus Gameplay Montage

The folks at 2K Games, developers of BioShock 2, sure do love to give interviews. At least, it certainly seems that way, as they have given not one, not two, but three video interviews for the upcoming return to Rapture.
The first one focuses on the game's new multiplayer aspect, something some debate over whether it belongs or not (what is a game if you can't shoot your friend in the head, right?). Now is our chance to see what they are doing with it:
Personally, given the nature of the main game, I was expecting multiplayer to focus on Big Daddy vs. Big Daddy-type action. But it's neat to see that they have instead taken another route with it... though admittedly, Big Daddy brawls would be awesome.
And speaking of Big Daddies, next up is seeing how the combat has evolved in the single-player game, as you take on the role of the Big Daddy of Big Daddies:
Sounds as though there may be a bit more strategy in play as you get behind the mask of one of the big lugs. The new threats to the Big Daddies should be interesting as well; I wonder how Jack in the first game would have fared against them.
Finally, a look at the characters who now inhabit Rapture, and the story that goes with them:
I do love what they've done with the place. It makes me wonder what they might do for a threequel, though.
Oh, and a surprise bonus: a gameplay montage has just been added.
Okay, I don't want to say this looks better than the first one, because I don't have my hands on it for one thing, but seriously, I am really liking what I'm seeing here. Nothing like a good brute-force character used well, for one thing.
And the weapons...
Telekinesis? Check.
Big honking drill-arm? Check.
Gattling gun? Check.
Pinning a guy to the wall by the head using a spear? Check and mate!
The only thing that could make this better is if you could knock a guy down and crush him by stepping on him.
