Modern Warfare 2 has quickly become the scourge of the holiday season for anyone not interested in playing the hotly-anticipated sequel. It seems as though nearly every other game which would have seen life during the cold winter months of 2009 has climbed over one another to flee into the far-flung reaches of 2010, where they might possibly manage to barely escape the wrath of Activision and Infinity Ward's juggernaut.

Unfortunately, the menace has grown, and like an out-of-control Katamari, Modern Warfare 2's swath of destruction continues to grow...



On a related note, a friend of mine and his wife were expecting to have their first child before the end of the year, but its birth has instead been pushed back to Spring 2010. "It just didn't make sense to compete," he said.
