Details of Xbox LIVE Rewards Program(s) Revealed
November 4, 2009 | 2:26 PM PST
Microsoft has recently been recruiting people through e-mail to participate in a new rewards program for Xbox 360 gamers, and today, the first details of the experiment have been uncovered.
The rewards program is currently being tested with three divisions as players are invited to join groups designated as Gray, Green, or Orange, each with Gold and Silver tiers and the prizes being Microsoft Points. GameSpy points out that "the vague language used in the program description seems to allude to Microsoft placing restrictions on what you can buy with your points: '...every month, The Rewards Squad will send you an email with an update on the points you've earned and the cool stuff you can get.'"
The trial is slated to run for six months, with participants able to begin using the points they have acquired after the first three have passed.
Here is how it all breaks down:

Not too shabby, and certainly better than the premium themes and free Avatar tees that GameSpy thought would be offered up. What do you guys think? Which group looks best? And have any of you been invited to join?
