EA Sports had a nice surprise for anyone who watched last night's Strikeforce MMA event on CBS - the very first trailer for their take on the super-popular sport, EA Sports MMA. Now, you can check out the trailer yourself, courtesy of PastaPadre.



The trailer primarily features fighters Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers, who just so happened to be facing each other in the night's main event. Also, eagle-eyed viewers will notice more than a few similarities to EA's excellent Fight Night series, meaning MMA already has quite the pugilistic pedigree.

The title is set for release next year on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
