Rumor: Electronic Arts Falsely Advertising Need for Speed Shift, Fifa 10 for Under $20?

EA just seems to be making all sorts of news today. This time, however, it's less about dire circumstances within the company and more about a possible advertising curiosity.
"Seth sent us this screengrab of an ad he found on Fark," writes The Consumerist, "in which Electronic Arts is offering games for less than $20. Problem is, none of the games pictured — The Sims 3, Need for Speed Shift and FIFA 10, hot, recently-released games all — can be had for any cheaper than $40 at the EA Store or any other retail venue other than the back of some guy's van.
Checking the EA Store's page for $20-and-under titles doesn't yield any of the shown titles, either, and nothing that isn't a PC game at that.
Like The Consumerist, though, I tried visiting Fark several times and never once came across the ad. Perhaps EA realized the error and removed it? Consumerist notes "Unless Seth is a photoshop prankster, this seems shady."
