Good news is afoot for Xbox LIVE Silver members who have an affinity for making the undead a little less "un" and a lot more dead.

The demo for Left 4 Dead 2 is now not only available on Xbox LIVE, but it is now available for members of the elite Silver status. It features sections from "The Parish" campaign, and gives those who partake a taste of all the new forms of death and destruction that come with the sequel.

The full game comes out in seven days, but I can't help but wonder-- if you only have Silver, is L4D2 going to be worth it? I was under the distinct impression that L4D multiplayer was essentially the game, so to speak.
