I've always been a huge fan of stories and easter eggs in videogames that are forgotten to the mists of time, only to be brought back to life years or decades later in one giant "I never realized that!" moment. Well, now, we have another one.
Capcom-Unity's Joveth Gonzalez, aka jgonzo, recently had the opportunity to travel to Guadalajara, Mexico for a wedding, and toured the Hospicio Cabaņas, a hospital complex completed in 1829, and used for over 150 years.
Why is this important? During the tour, the guide asked if anyone from the crowd had heard of a game called "Street Fighter", and asked if the building looked familiar. Why? Because it's used in the background for T. Hawk's stage in Super Street Fighter II.
