After all these years of extended development, you'd be forgiven for thinking that you may never get to play Remedy's psychological/action thriller Alan Wake. Okay, so people have supposedly had hands-on time with the game at E3 and the Tokyo Game Show, but c'mon. Next you're going to tell me people actually walked on the moon. Baloney.

Now there are rumors coming from a source "close to the game" that Microsoft is planning for a global release in late May. Additionally, Microsoft is looking to market the game "in the style of a Hollywood movie".

Alan Wake looks so good already, it's not going to take much work to make people think it's a blockbuster film.
