After officially announcing the development of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, an action oriented RPG featuring Marvel super heroes, Activision has revealed that the game will feature over one hundred and forty Marvel characters.
In the game players will control more than twenty of their favorite Marvel super heroes ranging from Spider-Man, Captain America, and Wolverine amongst a host of others.
“Marvel: Ultimate Alliance delivers a new twist on action/RPGs where players’ actions and choices ultimately determine what happens to the Marvel universe,” states Will Kassoy, Vice President of Global Brand Management for Activision. “This coupled with the game’s enormous character roster will deliver an action-packed experience that comic book fans have been waiting for.”
A central aspect of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance's gameplay experience comes in regards to its overall level of team customization, as players can create their own team name, icon, and vehicle. As the game progresses, gamers can increase the reputation of their team of heroes and individualize each of their heroes as they level up from combat.
We'll have much more on Activion's forthcoming multiplatform action rpg when E3 begins twelve days from now. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is currently in development by Raven Software for all next-generation consoles as well as their current-gen counterparts and handhelds.
